We finally got the chance to meet Rainbow Dash's parents, Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles. Rainbow Dash was embarrassed by them, but she still loved them. The door and Scootaloo as a fangirl were hysterical. We all loved our parents and they will always support us 🌈🌈🌈🥹🥹🥹🤣🤣🤣

Although Countess Coloratura's name makes it sound like she's a huge poser/phony because a countess is a noble from feudal Europe (think cont Dracula) she rather ironically became a beacon for keeping your integrity because she never sold out no matter how much her asshole manager Svengallop tried to make her; the only other modern singer/band who never sold out besides Jimi Hendrix was Freddy Mercury and Queen in fact I think when Rara said "the show must go on" that was probably a reference to the famous queen song of the same name this episode however also contains the shows best effort to sexualize ponies when Countess coloratura is singing "spectacle" her male back up dancer stand on their hind legs and gyrate their hips it's clear the animators had no idea how to make ponies sexual the producers obviously just told them to but the only experience they had doing that was making them beautiful; so they just figured have them do what humans do just shake their butts Michael Jackson style. That said compering Lena Hall singing the magic inside as Rara to Sia singing Rainbow in mlp the movie her emotion filled voice absolutely blows Sia out of the water .

This was a pretty funny episode. I feel bad for Rarity that her mane was removed. The pony that lost his mane cracked me up so hard. I like Rarity and Pinkie Pie's hairstyles 😱😱😱🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣

One of the most important two-part episodes in the entire series, and the reason has nothing to do with My Little Pony.

They mentioned this already, but Lena Hall who voiced Rara at one point said 'Friendship is Magic' at the Tony Awards, and Hasbro found out about that. They contacted her and offered for her to voice this character, and she jumped at the opportunity. And she went all-out during the songs. I've seen people watch 'The Magic Inside' without context, and they often say things like, 'They really went this hard for a kid's show?'. This show really was something else when you think about it.

So yeah, this episode is great, and it is very surprising they were able to pull it off. It isn't often you get an episode of a cartoon that has a message about the consequences of censorship.

This episode was both the cutest and saddest episode of MLP, in other words it's gut wrenching and real while still feeling like a fairy tale. It gave me more feels than the actual Romeo and Juliet did because it wasn't entirely tragic so it was easier to comprehend how sad it was. I also realise that the intentions of both stories are different, where Romeo and Juliet was more about not making huge terrible decisions based on emotion (wait isn't that what Grand Pear did?) while this is more about the importance of family and also the value of love.

I'm lucky that I haven't encountered them yet, though I mostly sit on difficulty 4 so that might be why lol.
